Youth and adults from across our Synod will fan the flames of service to our neighbors on Helping Hands Day: Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This year’s theme is Ignite – hearkening back to the story of Pentecost and the Holy Spirit’s coming among us in power and fire. We’ll focus on the significance of light in Scripture, lifting up Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous quote, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”
