Virtual Closing to the Sunday School Year
The last planned day of Sunday school at Redeemer Jamison was to have been the week before Memorial Day Weekend. At 9:30 am on May 17, the normal Sunday school time, they held a Zoom class instead. The teachers told the story of Mary and Martha, then asked each child if they thought of themselves as more like Mary or Martha. It was fun as well as enlightening to hear the kids’ responses. The session also kicked off an online Bible knowledge contest on Kahoot. The contest is open for a week and includes a running score for each participant. The Zoom session provided a good wrap-up at the normal wrap-up time in these times that are so far from normal.
