Position Overview

Emmaus Road Lutheran Church is seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Organist to lead and support our congregation in musical worship. The organist will play our Wicks pipe organ and piano, help create a prayerful and engaging atmosphere for Sunday services and liturgical events.

Position Details

Type: Part-Time (Approximately 5 hours per week)

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide organ and piano music for on 10:00 AM Sunday worship service
• Select, prepare, and perform an appropriate Prelude and Postlude each week

Special Services

• Provide music for Major Christian holidays and special service
  • Ash Wednesday
  • Holy Week
  • Reformation Sunday
  • All Saints Day
  • Christmas Eve

Instrument Stewardship

• Oversee Maintenance and tuning of the Wicks Pipe organ

Occasional Services

• Serve as primary musician for weddings and funerals (Additional fees apply)
