United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia is seeking a Major Gifts Officer. We are an open and affirming, diverse learning community equipping people to proclaim the Gospel for a changing church and changing world. With a history that dates back nearly 200 years we have an annual enrollment of more than 325 students, offering seven different graduate degrees, three certificate programs, and many continuing education opportunities. We are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and are an ecumenical institution.

The Major Gifts Officer is a key member of the Advancement Team. This full-time position is responsible for managing a portfolio of donor prospects through a strategic process of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to secure the financial commitments necessary to support the operational and strategic initiatives of the seminary. Additionally, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with members of the Advancement Team in the development and implementation of a successful annual fund program, planned giving, and a comprehensive campaign.

This is a full-time position with salary in the range of $60,000 to $65,000.
