St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, a growing congregation in Pennsburg, PA, is seeking an Organist to nurture the spiritual growth of the congregation through leadership in worship and musical ministries. Responsibilities include providing solo performance, choir accompaniment, and leading liturgical music and hymns.

St. Mark’s sanctuary boasts excellent acoustics and a 28 rank pipe organ built by Patrick J. Murphy in 2000. The instrument has been featured in the AGO magazine. The congregation also features a Baldwin grand piano.

The overall music program of the church is strong, and musicianship is appreciated. The congregation hosts the Valley Choral Society concerts, and participates in “Make Music Upper Perk”. A week of Summer Music Camp is offered for children. The compensation is competitive.
