2025 Synod Assembly Volunteer Sign Up!

Volunteers are ESSENTIAL to making Synod Assembly successful every year! We need many volunteers to help with the check-in process collecting voter cards and giving out nametags and other materials. We also need communion assistants, ushers, friendly faces to greet and answer questions, hospitality helpers to assist at refreshment times, pages to help with voting, and ingathering volunteers to help collect items. Week of May 19

Registration Prep - Daytime hours - specific times TBD with your schedule. Visit us at the Synod Office in Mt. Airy and help put together things like nametags, voter card packets, and gift bags.

Friday, May 30

Registration - Arrive by 7:45 a.m. Hand out nametags and other items, collect voter cards.

Hospitality - Needed during breaks and mealtimes (volunteers will be able to eat as well). Assist staff setting out snacks at break times, helping change any linens needed between the two meal settings, directing attendees to stations during meals.

Pages - Needed throughout day. Assist with voting duties such as making copies, handing out, collecting, and counting ballots.

Saturday, May 31

Registration - Arrive by 8 a.m. Hand out nametags and other items, collect voter cards.

Communion Assistant - Service starts at 8:30 a.m. Assistants will take part in a training Saturday with the worship committee prior to start of the service.

Ingathering - Needed 7 a.m. to 8:15 .m. Receive items being dropped off, help pack items to be picked up to Lutheran World Relief and Lutheran Disaster Response.

Pages - Needed throughout day. Assist with voting duties such as making copies, handing out, collecting, and counting ballots.
