Messiah Lutheran, Downingtown, PA , Chester County Conference is restarting their preschool as they complete a new classroom building. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of a new/renewed preschool program. The preschool director is a part-time position (25-30 hrs./wk.) that requires developing the program, marketing it, and hiring staff. As we were coming out of COVID, our preschool had a registration of nearly 75 students enrolled in our half-day program; however, as we prepared for the post-COVID reopening, Hurricane Ida flooded our whole facility.  Currently, (March 2025), we expect an early fall of 2025 completion of our new classroom and office building, and we feel that early 2026 could be a start date for testing the waters. In this early stage, the director may include teaching duties, too.
