Christ’s Lutheran Church in Oreland is looking for a Director of Faith Formation and Spiritual Direction. The responsibilities include:

1.) Work with and help coordinate Family Table services, counseling, prayer ministries, and educational ministries within the congregation.
2.) Participate in congregational stewardship and fundraising for special causes.
Create opportunities for congregational justice and service projects (such as God’s Work, Our Hands Day, the MLK Day of Service, etc.)
3.) Develop and lead spiritual programs for the congregation (prior examples of such work are a prayer labyrinth, prayer stations, and Wednesday Evening Lent programs)
4.) Provide spiritual direction (vocation, discernment, transitions, stewardship) to parishioners and community members.
5.) Partner with the pastor in developing ministries for post-confirmation youth and young adults.
