The Children, Youth and Family Minister (CFYM) will play an important role in the faith development of children, families and youth within our Church by way of leading our Living In Faith Together (LIFT) Program, Coordinating Youth Group Events and Vacation Bible School each year, and encouraging our children, youth and families to be active participants of our congregation and programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
1) Coordinate the LIFT Program which is currently held at 10:30am on Sundays. LIFT is 20-30 minutes and focuses on weekly Bible story with music/crafts/games
2) Select and order curriculum for LIFT and Vacation Bible School in coordination with Pastor
3) Coordinate and lead youth group events
4) Coordinate and organize Vacation Bible School each year with a team of volunteers & staff
5) Plan CYFM intergenerational events that connect members of LGCS with the larger community. (Examples: Breakfast with Santa, Easter Egg Hunts)
Invite, encourage and coordinate volunteers
6) Coordinate CYFM announcements and publications, including social media, bulletins, newsletters, and websites
7) Encourage youth to participate in leadership roles in worship and help with their training as needed
