SUMMARY:Anti-Racism Education for Lay and Rostered Leaders
DESCRIPTION:The Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod’s Anti-Racism Team announces a new offering of anti-racism education\, this time for both lay and rostered participants. \nThe format consists of: \n\nOne 90-minute Zoom meeting to introduce the curriculum\, planned for Monday\, November 6\, 2023\, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.\nNine online modules outlining the historical context of the systemic racism embedded in our current institutions. Participants will have at least nine weeks\, at their convenience\, to complete these modules.\nOne in-person day-long session on Saturday\, February 3\, 2024 (Snow date: February 10)\, at the Brossman Center\, United Lutheran Seminary\, 7301 Germantown Avenue\, Philadelphia.\n\nThis program is free to all participants.
