Immigrant Rights 2017: Community Challenges and Opportunities.

Panelists (so far):

HIAS – Zaid Hatoum – the refugee situation

Wendy Hess and Jack Herzig, immigration attorneys

Kelli Myers-Gottemoller, Bethany Christian Services – refugees and unaccompanied children

Adoption Rights Campaign – situation for foreign-born adoptees.

Dr. Valerie Arkoosh, Chair of the Montgomery County Commissioners, will moderate the program.
The panelists will each have time to speak about their areas of expertise.  The audience will have time to ask questions at the end.
We’ve invited township officials, the Abington and Cheltenham commissioners, the mayor of Jenkintown, police representatives, from Cheltenham, Abington and Jenkintown, as well as the Montgomery County Commissioners.  We hope to include them in the discussion.
