Navigating relationships can be a challenge for any of us, for those with a loved one suffering from Bipolar, Major Depression or Borderline Personality Disorder it can feel like a wild rollercoaster ride. The Mental Health Association of Southeastern PA is offering its’ Getting Off the Emotional Roller Coaster 10 week workshop beginning October 1 and 2 in Philadelphia, Wallingford and Plymouth Meeting for families who are looking to both understand these disorders as well as gain the tools for more effective communication. This unique workshop is co-facilitated by a therapist with lived experience in their own family, a person in recovery from one of these disorders and a graduate family member who has implemented the skills with their loved one.

The 10 week classes run from 7 to 9 pm and will begin in Philadelphia on Wednesday October 1 and Wallingford and Plymouth Meeting on October 2. There will be no classes Thanksgiving week. Special funding allows Philadelphia residents to attend the Philadelphia workshop without charge. The cost of the Wallingford and Plymouth Meeting workshop is $300 or $30 per class. Registration is required and class size is limited to allow for discussion and individualized learning.
