Congregations are invited to bring quilts and kits to the Biennial Convention of the Synodical Women of the ELCA, being held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 46 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335 on Saturday, June 2; the truck will be loaded that morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.  Everyone making a donation that morning is invited to stay for opening worship, as the donations are blessed and sent out in to the world.

In order to make this Ingathering a success, please consider:

• Instructions for LWR quilts and kits can be found here: https://lwr.org. Go to the ‘Get Involved’ page and read about making quilts, building kits, and tracking your donations.
• If your congregation hasn’t participated in the past, consider putting together a few kits or make a financial gift to cover the cost of transportation.
• A contribution of $50 per congregation donating quilts and kits is suggested to cover the shared cost of trucking the donations to the LWR warehouse in Maryland. It is helpful to have these funds in advance.
