‘The Best Gifts of Easter are Unseen’
After this incredibly dreary, cold and snowy winter, I found myself craving spring more than I can remember for a long time. I yearned for longer light, warm sun, buds, blossoms, and birds singing again. Thankfully we are seeing all the signals of spring now, signs of the abundance to come.
But the miracle of Easter is the gift we did not hope for or anticipate. It was nothing we could have ever experienced with our memories or senses, so how could we have even craved it?
The best gifts of Easter are the unseen ones: the gift of resurrection; the joy of eternal life; love overcoming evil; the peace and confidence in Jesus Christ that passes all understanding.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
May your heart and spirit daily blossom with grace, and may you experience the true joy of the resurrected life in this Easter Season.
